On July 9, 2024, the School of Law of Shenzhen University held the departure ceremony for its summer social practice and the strike team in Room 418, Minglv Building. The event was attended by Dean Xiong Wei, Party Secretary Lin Jilin, and nearly seventy faculty members and students. The ceremony was hosted by counselor Li Chijie.

In his speech, Dean Xiong emphasized the importance of social practice, encouraging students to step out of the campus and gain hands-on experience, becoming legal professionals with practical abilities. The team that won the First Prize in Social Practice in 2023 for their research in Guangzhou’s Liwan Community shared their experiences. Student Huang Yingying pointed out that the key to success lies in knowledge integration, proper division of labor, and thorough data organization. Lin Jilin then explained the practical considerations, stressing the importance of discipline and various safety factors. The ceremony concluded with Lin Jilin presenting the flag to the social practice team, marking the successful end of the event.
