In August 2024, the first national summer camp on "Foreign-related Rule of Law and Bay Area Practice" was successfully held. The summer camp was guided by the Law Education Research Society of the China Law Society, the Secretariat of the Collaborative Training Innovation Base for Foreign-related Legal Talent, and the Office of the Comprehensive Rule of Law Commission of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee. It was co-hosted by the School of Law at Shenzhen University and the Futian District Bureau of Justice, Shenzhen, with several well-known national law firms as co-organizers.
The camp took place from July 28 to August 4, 2024, in Shenzhen, and attracted 60 participants from across the country, including those from various Foreign-related Legal Talent Collaborative Training Innovation Bases. Through on-site visits, special reports, innovative discussions, and mock competitions, the camp broadened the academic horizons of participants, facilitated communication between outstanding university students from across China, and enhanced understanding of foreign-related legal practice in the Greater Bay Area.
