On April 20, 2026, the 13th Asia-Pacific Enterprise M&A Simulation Competition concluded successfully. Hosted by Wuhan University Law School and the China Merger & Acquisition Association, with co-organization from multiple universities and institutions, it is one of the most influential annual professional competitions in the M&A field in the Asia-Pacific region. This edition brought together 15 leading universities from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong, and Macao.

The SZU team was coached by Professor Cai Yuanqing and Associate Professor Lü Chenglong, led by graduate student Chen Xiting, and composed of interdisciplinary students from the School of Law and the School of Economics. Recreating real M&A scenarios throughout, the team delivered a professional proposal and outstanding performance, winning the Best Financial Advisor Award and the Best M&A Memorial Award. Team member Wei Jianfeng was named Outstanding Performer, and Qiao Shiyu was named Best Team Member. The results highlight SZU students’ expertise and collaboration, made possible by the support of on- and off-campus expert mentors.
