On the afternoon of June 16, 2026, the law student exchange activity bringing together universities from Hong Kong, Macao and the University of Newcastle, Australia was successfully held at Meeting Room 418, Minglv Building, Lihu Campus of Shenzhen University. The delegation from the University of Newcastle, together with law student representatives from multiple Hong Kong and Macao universities, visited SZU, with Associate Dean Chen Meng of SZU School of Law and faculty and student representatives in attendance.

During the event, heads of the participating institutions delivered remarks, introduced their respective law programs’ features, and expressed willingness to deepen multilateral legal cooperation and build international exchange platforms. Faculty from the University of Newcastle shared the host institution’s characteristics in clinical legal education. Chinese and international students then engaged in interactive discussion on topics such as differences between legal families and youth development. After the session, the visiting delegation toured the university library to experience SZU’s campus atmosphere. The event opened broader communication channels among institutions and will promote more diverse and deeper cooperation in legal education and student exchange.
