On the afternoon of April 19th, our college, in collaboration with the Shenzhen Lawyers' Association, hosted the 2023 Graduate Job Fair on the second floor of the Minglv Building, Lihu Campus of Shenzhen University. The aim was to implement the decision-making directives of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council regarding "stabilizing employment" and "preserving employment", seizing the opportune spring recruitment period, and making concerted efforts to facilitate employment. The job fair attracted 52 enterprises, offering over 300 employment positions along with numerous internship opportunities for students, drawing in more than 300 attendees.
The college leadership accorded significant importance to the job fair. Dean Liu Jun, Party Secretary Ma Wenze, and Deputy Party Secretary Ye Xing personally visited the fair, engaging with recruiting units and interacting with job-seeking graduates.
The ambiance of the job fair was cordial and well-coordinated. Armed with meticulously prepared resumes, students actively sought guidance from representatives of various companies, gaining comprehensive insights into their backgrounds and engaging in brief interviews with those aligning with their interests. Long queues formed in front of each company's booth. Through this process, students not only gained a deeper understanding of the companies but also identified their own strengths and weaknesses, thereby enhancing their professional competence and skill levels, while also acquiring valuable interview skills.
The job fair included dedicated zones for employment and career planning consultations, resume guidance, and conscription publicity. Flooded with students, each zone saw active participation, with students seeking advice and engaging in one-on-one discussions with teachers to refine their career planning. Additionally, given the stormy weather coinciding with the event, the college provided participants with ginger tea, scented tea, coffee, and more, adding warmth to the job fair venue.
The College will continue to monitor the employment situation of students, foster school-enterprise cooperation, understand students' needs, provide enhanced employment opportunities, and collaborate with enterprises to effectively implement the new employment policy, thereby truly realizing the objectives of "stabilizing employment" and "preserving employment".
The job fair concluded successfully.
