Recently, according to the "Announcement on the List of AnnualProjects and Youth Projects of the National Social Science Fund in 2023" issued by the National Office of Philosophy and Social Science Work, two regular projects of the National Social Science Fund applied by our college this year have been approved, including a general project and a youth project.

In recent years, the law school has delved into the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, implemented the instruction from Commission for Law-based Governance under the CPC Central Committee on "Supporting the construction of a high-level law school at Shenzhen University", closely hewed to the development strategy for constructing a high-level university, and endeavored to create a first-class law school with a domestically leading position, significant international influence, and distinct characteristics.
This year, law school has successively launched a series of programs to accelerate the construction of a high-level law school and win first-class scientific research achievements in law, including the "Academic Exchange Prosperity Plan of Shenzhen University Law School", the "High-Level Research Outcome Cultivation Plan of Shenzhen University Law School", the "Publication Support Plan for High-Level Works of Shenzhen University Law School", and the "Teacher Salon Implementation Plan of Shenzhen University Law School". These plans help create a good academic environment and promote the improvement and development of teachers' research capabilities.
A strong academic atmosphere is gradually taking shape in law school. By the end of September, there have been a total of 36 academic lectures and 12 special conferences this year, with lecturers including Zhang Mingqi, Zhang Wenxian, Wang Liming, Jiang Bixin, Zhang Shouwen, Huang Wenyi, Hu Yuhong, and many other famous legal scholars.
The scientific research output of our teachers has achieved remarkable results. By the end of September, our teachers have obtained 2 projects approval by the National Social Science Foundation and 4 projects approval at the provincial and ministerial level this year. Additionally, they have published 13 core papers in CSSCI law.
