On May 8, the SZU Law School invited Zhang Wei, Vice President of the Yong Pung How School of Law at Singapore Management University (SMU), and his delegation to visit. The purpose of this invitation was to promote the international development of Shenzhen University, contribute to the construction of a world-class innovative university and high-level law school, enhance the cultivation of foreign talent at SZU Law School, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation with renowned overseas law schools. Dean Liu Jun, Vice Dean Song Xuguang of the SZU Law School, and faculty representative Lv Chenglong met with them. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and shared experiences on the theme of legal education and the training of legal talent.

During the exchange meeting, teachers and students from both institutions shared their experiences and insights in legal education at their respective schools. They had in-depth discussions on various issues, such as promoting the establishment of a legal discipline exchange system within the context of globalization, the role of law schools in digital era media publicity, and methods to cultivate high-quality internationalized legal talents.

The two colleges have reached a preliminary consensus on future cooperation in several areas, including teacher and student exchanges, mutual recognition of credits, and joint academic seminars.

This exchange has deepened mutual understanding between SZU Law School and SMU YPHSL, laying a foundation for future cooperation between the two institutions.
