The 9th Advanced Seminar on Intellectual Property Practice Concludes Successfully

The graduation ceremony for the Ninth Advanced Seminar on Intellectual Property Practice at Shenzhen University (SZU) was held at One Excellence, T1-1906 on the morning of January 13, 2024. The event was attended by Professor Xiong Wei, Dean of the School of Intellectual Property (International School of Intellectual Property) of SZU, Deputy Director Mao Cheng of the Intellectual Property Promotion Office of Market Supervision Administration of Shenzhen Municipality, Professor Zhu Xiequn of the intellectual property discipline of Law School at SZU, along with other leaders, guests, and all participants of the seminar.

On behalf of the Market Supervision Administration of Shenzhen Municipality (Intellectual Property Office of Shenzhen Municipality), Mao expressed gratitude to Shenzhen University and all council members for their efforts and dedication. The School of Intellectual Property (International School of Intellectual Property) of SZU has been operating for more than ten years and has played an important role in helping Shenzhen become a model city for high-standard national intellectual property development and a national intellectual property protection demonstration zone.

Xiong emphasized in his speech that the school will, as always, undertake the mission of intellectual property talent training and continue to make efforts to cultivate high-end composite intellectual property talents.

Dr. He Shukui, speaking on behalf of all the trainees, expressed his gratitude to the School and all the faculty. He noted that the completion of the course is not the end, but the starting point for further study.

At the end, Zhu and Mao presented graduation certificates to each participant and took commemorative photos. Since the establishment of the School of Intellectual Property, there have been ten sessions of the advanced seminar on intellectual property, with each session lasting two years. The seminar has become an important platform for intellectual property talent in Shenzhen to learn and exchange ideas, earning unanimous praise from all sectors of society.
