On the morning of October 11, 2024, a research team from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Justice, led by Deputy Director Li Yanmei, visited the School of Law at Shenzhen University to assess the current state of the school's foreign-related rule of law initiatives. The team was composed of several officials from the Provincial Office for the Rule of Law and the Department of Justice, as well as representatives from the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Justice and other relevant units. The meeting was chaired by Professor Xiong Wei, Dean of the School of Law.

During the meeting, the team engaged in an in-depth discussion on cutting-edge issues in the field of foreign-related rule of law and the mechanisms for talent training and cooperation. They provided several practical suggestions and expressed full recognition of Shenzhen University’s foreign-related rule of law education and research. The team also expressed high expectations for the future development of the field at the university.
