On November 17, 2024, the 2024 Academic Annual Conference of the China Law Society Law Journal Research Association was grandly held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. The event was organized by the China Law Society Law Journal Research Association, hosted by the School of Law at Shenzhen University, and co-organized by CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) and Peking University Law Press.

The theme of the conference was "Chinese-style Modernization and the Mission of Law Journals." Zhang Wenxian, a member of the China Law Society’s Party Leadership Group and Chairman of the Academic Committee and Law Journal Research Association, attended and delivered a speech. The opening ceremony was also attended by Zhang Liwei, Standing Committee Member of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, and President of the Shenzhen Law Society; Zhang Xiaohong, Vice President of Shenzhen University; and Xiong Wei, Dean of the School of Law at Shenzhen University, who all delivered remarks.

More than 260 members, directors, editors, and scholars from the China Law Society Law Journal Research Association participated in the conference.
