On November 24, 2024, the unveiling ceremony of the Shenzhen University Volunteer Legal Service Center was held at the Qiming Building C101 Conference Hall, Lihu Campus. Several distinguished guests from outside the university attended the event, including Ji Xiaoping, Deputy Minister of the Social Work Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Secretary of the "Two New" Work Committee; Mao Yanhui, Senior Staff Member of the Reform, Development, and Social Work Talent Department; Guan Su, Party Member and Second-Level Inspector from the Shenzhen Municipal Education Bureau; Liu Yawei, Fourth-Level Senior Staff Member from the Policy and Legal Affairs Department of the Education Bureau; Wang Li, Director of the People’s Participation and Legal Promotion Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Justice; and Niu Jian, Section Chief.

Attendees from Shenzhen University included Vice Principal Wang Yongcheng, Director of the Lihu Campus Management Office Ruan Bin, Deputy Director Chen Guozhang, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Department Luo Shaowu, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee Xiao Xiaojun, Secretary of the School of Law Party Committee Ma Wenze, Deputy Secretary Lin Jilin, as well as faculty, staff, and student representatives from the School of Law.

The event marked the official launch of the Volunteer Legal Service Center, which aims to provide legal support and promote the rule of law within the community.
