Shenzhen University Law School held its grand Spring Festival gathering on the evening of January 8, 2025. Vice President Wang Yongcheng, faculty members, students, retired professors, and alumni representatives gathered to celebrate.

In his speech, Party Secretary Ma Wenze reflected on the school's achievements over the past year, highlighting its united efforts and new milestones, while extending New Year's blessings. Dean Xiong Wei summarized the school's 2024 accomplishments by highlighting ten significant achievements, including the approval of a first-tier doctoral program in law and the establishment of a Ministry of Education training base for foreign-related legal talent. He emphasized ongoing efforts to deepen talent development and disciplinary advancement.

Vice President Wang Yongcheng highly praised the school's progress and encouraged innovative developments in legal education in the coming year. Retired professor Song Weimin and alumnus representative Wang Yongfei shared heartfelt remarks, expressing gratitude for the school's nurturing influence.

More than just a warm reunion, the gathering shared a consensus on development. Standing at a new starting point, the Law School remains committed to contributing to China's rule of law and the advancement of legal education.
