Shenzhen University Law School and Hong Kong's Des Voeux Chambers jointly inaugurated the "Des Voeux Chambers Legal Course," featuring a public lecture on International Commercial Rules on February 23, 2025.

Des Voeux Chambers'　Senior Counsel Lawrence Wong and Barrister Jason Lau served as the first guest speakers. Law School Dean Xiong Wei, along with Vice Deans Zhou Wei and Chen Meng, attended the event. Dean Xiong expressed gratitude for Des Voeux Chambers" support, highlighting the course's role in cultivating legal professionals with global perspectives. Vice Dean Zhou Wei reviewed past collaborative achievements and presented "Shenzhen University External Mentor" appointments to Des Voeux's lawyers. Vice Dean Chen Meng moderated the lecture session, encouraging students to seize this learning opportunity to enhance their practical skills.

This collaboration provides SZU law students with a platform to learn international commercial law in practice, bridging theory and application while advancing the development of high-caliber foreign-related legal talent. Moving forward, both sides will deepen cooperation, expand training mode, and promote the internationalization of legal education.
