Spring 2025 marks the official launch of the second student exchange program between Shenzhen University and Southwest University of Political Science and Law (SWUPL). Thirty-two students from SZU's Weiheng Experimental Class have begun their studies at SWUPL, while thirty-four SWUPL students have arrived at SZU Law School, pioneering a new cross-provincial model for joint legal talent cultivation.

At the ice-breaking event hosted by SZU Law School, Dean Xiong Wei, Deputy Party Secretary Lin Jilin, and faculty members welcomed the exchange students. Deputy Secretary Lin highlighted the open characteristics of Shenzhen University as a "window university" in the special zone. Dean Xiong reflected on the longstanding partnership between the two universities and encouraged students to forge lasting connections.

This exchange program offers students a unique opportunity to experience different teaching methodologies while strengthening inter-university collaboration in legal education. From the foothills of Chongqing to Shenzhen, these future legal professionals embark on a shared journey of growth and discovery.
