Shenzhen University (SZU) and Shenzhen People's Procuratorate held a signing ceremony for their upgraded "University-Procuratorate Cooperation" at Huiyuan Building in Yuehai Campus on the morning of March 31. The event was attended by SZU Party Secretary Li Qingquan, Vice President Wang Yongcheng, Procurator General Li Xiaodong of Shenzhen Procuratorate, and Political Department Director Zhang Li and other officials.
Secretary Li Qingquan highlighted that the elevation of cooperation from district-level to municipal-level signifies a new phase of collaboration. He emphasized that SZU Law School will focus on aspects like talent cultivation and research commercialization to provide high-quality legal professionals for Shenzhen's law-based governance. Procurator General Li Xiaodong acknowledged SZU Law School's significant contributions to the Special Economic Zone's legal development, stating this comprehensive partnership will leverage both parties' strengths to jointly serve Shenzhen's legal system advancement.
The agreement establishes deeper cooperation in theoretical research, project development, and talent cultivation, builds joint practical training platforms and creates innovative talent development models. Vice President Wang Yongcheng and Director Zhang Li signed the agreement as official representatives, opening a new chapter in university-procuratorate collaboration. This partnership will cultivate ethically-grounded legal professionals with both moral integrity and professional competence, injecting new momentum into Shenzhen's legal construction.
