On the afternoon of August 18, Dean Xiong Wei of Shenzhen University School of Law led a seven-member delegation from the school and the Institute of Law and Technology to Tencent's Binhai Mansion in Shenzhen for a symposium on application trends in "large models + law." They were received by Hu Yingchun, Deputy General Manager of Tencent's Legal Department; Li Weiyang, Head of the Legal AI Platform; Shi Mohan, Compliance Lead for the Hunyuan Large Model; and multiple experts from the research institute.
Prior to the discussion, the delegation visited Tencent's exhibition hall to learn about its development history, business ecosystem, and technological innovations. During the meeting, Dean Xiong Wei introduced the development of Shenzhen University's School of Law and the institute, highlighting construction directions in three key areas: market economy legal systems, intellectual property and technology law, and foreign-related and Hong Kong-Macao legal affairs, as well as layouts in the interdisciplinary field of "law and technology." The Tencent side presented its business and legal work, sharing trends and practical experiences in large model applications in law. Li Weiyang demonstrated the architecture and concepts of the Legal AI Platform, while Shi Mohan explained the Hunyuan Large Model's applications in efficiency improvement and education.
Finally, both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on future collaboration. After the meeting, Dean Xiong Wei presented a souvenir to Tencent on behalf of the School of Law, expressing gratitude and expectations for cooperation.
