On November 15-16, 2025, the finals of the 2025 National College Student Environmental Resource Moot Court Competition were successfully held at Shenzhen University's Lihu Campus. The competition was jointly hosted by the Center of Collaborative Innovation Judicial Civilization, the All-China Environment Federation, and Shenzhen University; organized by the Shenzhen University School of Law; and co-organized by the Guangdong Province Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era Research Center Shenzhen University Base, and the Shenzhen Lawyers Association.

The competition attracted enthusiastic registration from teams at 63 universities across the country, with 16 teams ultimately advancing to the finals. After two days of intense competition, Anhui Normal University won the championship, while Shenzhen University secured first prize (runner-up), Sun Yat-sen University and Shanghai University of Political Science and Law were the second prize winners (joint third place). As the host, the Shenzhen University team performed excellently, achieving the best result in its history of participating in this competition. The competition also presented several individual awards, including Best Oralist, Best Memorial, Outstanding Oralist, and Outstanding Advisor.

It is reported that the National College Student Environmental Resource Moot Court Competition has been successfully held for 13 sessions since its inception in 2012. Over the years, the scale and influence of the competition have continued to expand, establishing it as a crucial platform for interaction between environmental law education circles and legal practitioners in China, jointly cultivating outstanding rule of law talent.
