On the afternoon of November 13, 2025, to implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee and promote the effective integration of ideological and political education with social practice, the School of Law organized teachers and students for a practical visit to Hiways Law Firm's Shenzhen office, conducting an “Onsite Ideological and Political Education" activity. Lin Jilin, Deputy Secretary of the School's Party Committee, Li Chijie, a staff member from the Youth League Committee, and over ten student cadres participated in the event.

Accompanied by guests including Huang Danna, Director of Hiways Law Firm's Shenzhen Office, and partner Zhou Liguo, the teachers and students observed the firm's daily workflows, such as case consultation and contract review, gaining an immersive experience of the crucial role of lawyers.

During the subsequent discussion, both sides held in-depth dialogues on topics including the cultivation of legal talent, enhancement of practical skills, and resource sharing between the school and the firm. The firm's representatives also provided guidance on students' questions regarding changes in legal work in the AI era and the neutral stance in legal mediation.

This activity successfully built a communication platform between the law school and legal practice sectors, providing guidance for students on future career choices.
